Christmas Program

Tonight we had the church Christmas program. We weren't able to have it on the originally scheduled date in December because of an ice storm. Madeline was an angel and Eliana sang a solo in French. She was very nervous but sounded beautiful.

I am a work-at-home, homeschooling mom to seven, soon to be eight, kids, both biological and adopted from Haiti. I have a fabulous, and loving, husband. I am also a DONA and CAPPA trained Birth Doula, Childbirth Educator, and a WIC Breastfeeding Peer Educator. A friend at church taught me to sew a year ago and I have been busy making things ever since. I love theology, writing, and my family. I am not a fan of pets, and I hate mice. I am also a perfectionist and so it is sometimes hard for me to publish what I write because I don't want people to see it. I am learning to be organized, scheduled, and stick to a budget after years of flying by the seat of my pants. I like to wear make-up and jewelry and I don't like to be frumpy. I also have my nose pierced (and Jesus still loves me!) I am glad you stopped by to read my ponderings, and I hope you will leave me a comment, so I can stop by your blog as well.
