We had a lot going on in October though, so I thought I'd post some pictures.
As you can see, Eva is huge. You may wonder why she is sitting inside a toilet. My bathroom floor was starting to smell funky. I assumed it was because so many small children had peed on it through the years, and maybe the smell was in the cracks or something. Anyway, we decided to put some new flooring down, no big deal, right? Wrong! When Michael went to lift up the toilet part of the floor came up with it. Apparently, the sub-floor was rotten, hence the odor. To make a long story short, we ended up having to redo the entire bathroom. We bought a new toilet and while it was on the porch, Michael thought it would be funny to take a picture of Eva inside of it. Strange, I know...anyway, the pictures are cute.
Other exciting things in Sept./Oct.- we had visits from my brother Nathan and his family, we traveled to Branson over Columbus Day weekend with our entire family, and a week or so later we had a visit from my Grandparents. The visit with my Grandparents was particularly special as we spent one entire day interviewing them about their years growing up. They had some great stories to share with us.
We also went bowling for the first time. We went with two other homeschool families. We had 13 kids between the three of us, and the ball ended up in stuck in the middle of the lane, or in someone else's lane more times than I can remember. We had a great time though. Also, once a month we take a gymnastics class at the local Y with three homeschool families. Although we belong to several homeschool groups, we are very close to these particular families and we usually do some activity together at least once a week. Our four families combined have 16 kids and 13 of them are girls! We are so blessed to have such great friends.
October 22 marked the tenth anniversary of the day Michael proposed to me. My Grandparents were in town so we took a drive to get apples, and ride the ferry. I have always loved taking the ferry, and the kids had never been on one, so we had a good time. Then we went to the state park where Michael proposed to me, and I took a picture of all the kids. Who would have though ten years ago that we would have six kids?!
I also did some once a moth cooking. Eliana loves cooking so she helped. She decided though that we weren't "real" cooks without aprons, so she convinced Michael to go to Wal-Mart and get us some.

It looks like you had a lot of fun.
Loving the toliet photos. I'm a bit bummed you don't have photos of each of you in or on the commode...
