No Ordinary Love

This is a street in one of the worst slums in the world, in the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.

This is a picture of two people whom I love with no ordinary love.

This street, is their street.

This street is the street where my daughter Eliana grew up.

These are her parents.

The story is hers to tell, but she wanted me to share these pictures with you.

When her father called last weekend, he said that her mom is very sick, and in the hospital. Please pray for her recovery, and please pray for my girl.

I will pray for Eliana's mom. I bet Eliana is worried sick about her.

Glad we got to chat tonight...I hope soon we can get together!

Hi Natalie,
I will certainly be in prayer for her. For all of you. It must be really hard for Eliana right now and for you as well. I will keep this close to my heart.

That must be hard for her.

Please tell Eliana she is brave and her trust in Christ and testimony are precious. We'll be praying for her birthfamily.

Oh poor Eliana! I am sure she feels like her birth mom's protector still. (It's part of that mother-daughter bond thing, I think; every daughter to some degree fights ferociously to protect their mom. How lucky she is to have that bond with two people!) But it still makes my heart hurt to think of all the thoughts running through her little head. Prayers said tonight for her heart and her mom's health.
